The Kansas City Outlaws beat the New York Mavericks 264.55-172.95, and the Florida Freedom ended a four-game losing streak with an 89.60-0 win over the Nashville Stampede.
The event at Dickies Arena continues Saturday, Oct. 3 at 6:45 p.m. CT, with all five games airing live at 7 p.m. CT on Paramount+.

Both finished in the top three of the long round at the Duel at the Dunes in Roggen, Colo., then Brennan won the championship round with an 85-point ride and Andersen took second with an 84.
Their unofficial earnings moved them off the bubble and into the NFR field, pending the PRCA standings audit, while Gus Galliard finished seventh in the long round and was left behind.
In the same event, bareback rider Bradlee Miller unofficially set a new regular-season earnings record.
